Loren Kotman
Pastor

Pastor Loren became the pastor of Milwood in 1999 after having served as the associate pastor of Fresno Christian Reformed Church in Fresno, California. Originally from Holland, Michigan, he is a graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business. After working in the business world for three years, he studied at Calvin Seminary and graduated with a Masters in Divinity. Pastor Loren and his wife Norma have three children, Tim (Katy), Jon Michael and Maria.

Julie Meinema
Administrative Assistant

Julie Meinema has been a member of Milwood since 1992 and has been on staff at Milwood since 1995. Julie grew up in the Kalamazoo area, attended Calvin College for 3 years and received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Michigan University. Julie is married to Mark. They have four children: David, Jonathon, Karl, and Erin.

Tim & Kelli Visser
Directors of Youth
and Young Families

Tim & Kelli joined the Milwood staff in August 2010. Tim grew up in Kalamazoo and has been a member of Milwood since 1995. Kelli is from Grand Rapids and moved to Kalamazoo after they got married. She has been a member since 2006. Tim attended Michigan Tech and received an Associates degree from KVCC. Kelli attended GRCC and also has her license in cosmetology. They have a daughter, Lorelei.

Leanne Rhoads
Director of Worship

Leanne joined our staff as Director of Worship in October of 2006. Leanne grew up in St. Thomas, Ontario. She came to Grand Rapids to attend Calvin College, where she graduated with an education degree majoring in French and having minors in music and youth ministry. She is married to Jeff Rhoads.
